Folio, our dedicated online individual learning plan offers learners an easy means of tracking their own education progress.
Folio has been split into four combined sections to help provide a vibrant way of creating an evolving view of each learner’s progress. The first is ‘My Learning’, whereby a user can establish overall targets for a given period, agreed between both the learner and the teacher. This can also be linked with Collaborative Learning Manager (CLM) to help detail the learner’s progress towards achieving their qualifications.
The second is ‘My Work Experience’, which maintains a track of the learner’s on-site experience and their work aspirations, allowing for the construction of a suitable path for the learner to follow in their quest to gain employment. Further to this, Folio also includes an ‘About Me’ section where the learner can include details of their hobbies, activities and a personal statement, as well as a customisable profile which summarises details stored within the individual learning plan that enables the learner to display an online profile and create a printable CV.
Our individual learning plan is password protected, which can be altered at the learner’s discretion. Each learner can permit other students to have access to their profile, blog and personal information. Teachers and learner providers can also access Folio to ensure students are reaching their own targets and remain on track to reach or exceed their goals.

Folio provides a dedicated and personal online space for students to upload and store documents such as course work, videos and addition resources.
Students can record and manage overall targets set for the for the period/term by the learner and teacher as well as short-term targets towards achieving qualifications. By having a visual representation of progress, students know immediately where they have to improve and what exactly they have to do to reach and even exceed their set targets.
Folio is password protected with each individual user able to change their passwords when required. Users can also permit other students to have access to their profiles to read, but not amend, their blogs and personal information.
Folio provides the ability to create and store CVs which can be easily updated as experience and achievements are gained.
Folio is accessed via the internet so whether on or off site, learners can log-on to their records.
